BJP leader Jawahar Chavda's second letter bomb: Illegal construction of Junagadh BJP office
Despite informing the collector in the year 2017, no action was taken

Gandhinagar: Former cabinet minister and BJP leader Jawahar Chawda has exploded another letter bomb. It has been blasted that an illegal district BJP office has been constructed at Khamdhrol Chowkdi in Junagadh. In the year 2017, despite writing to the then Collector, no action has been taken. Jawahar Chavda has started a front against district BJP president Kirit Patel. In the first letter, Jawahar Chavda made serious allegations against the district BJP president and in the second letter raised the issue of unauthorized construction of the district BJP office. Apart from this, there has been a commotion after announcing the letter to the then state president Jitu Vaghani about BJP officials who engaged in anti-party activities in the Manavadar assembly by-election in the year 2019 without taking any action.
Two days ago, Jawahar Chavda sparked a debate by publishing a letter written to the Prime Minister making serious allegations against Junagadh district BJP president Kirit Patel. In which the district BJP president accused Vokla of illegal construction of Krishna Arcade by forcing him. While this matter is still not calmed down, another letter bomb has exploded that the construction of Junagadh district BJP office is unauthorized.
Jawahar Chawda has released a letter written to the collector in 2017. The Collector was informed that the illegal construction of a BJP office in the name of Deendayal Bhawan was done without obtaining permission on the land that had violated the conditions at Khamdhrol Chowk of Junagadh. The Collector was informed and requested to be vigilant so that BJP office is not inaugurated by the then Chief Minister, Minister or any other dignitary.

Junagadh district BJP's illegal building was inaugurated by then Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on 20 August 2017. Former minister Jawahar Chawda has made a sensational allegation that the construction of the district BJP office building on Khamdhrol Chowkdi has been done in an unauthorized manner in violation of the rules. Jawahar Chavda's letter has heated up the politics of Gujarat including Saurashtra. The Chief Minister inaugurated despite drawing the attention of the then Collector in the letter written by the former minister before the inauguration.
Issues of illegal construction of BJP office disclosed
Jawahar Chavda wrote to the Collector regarding the violation of conditions in the construction of the BJP office. In which they have presented as many as 9 points and informed, but no action has been taken till date. In the letter written to the Collector, they have stated that,
1. Built a BJP office without obtaining permission even though it was uncultivated for residential use only.
2. Construction has to be done after opening the rest of the plot as per the lay-out. A margin has not been placed instead.
3. According to the non-agricultural permission order, the construction has to be completed within 3 years after getting the construction permission in 6 months. But the construction has been done after the time limit has passed.
4. Before commencing construction, Mamlatdar has to be informed in 1 month through Talati. But he violated the condition by not informing.
5. Construction cannot be done without the permission of the Municipal Corporation. However, the non-cultivation permission should be canceled as the construction was done against the rules without obtaining permission.
6. The provision of planting 500 trees in open space has not been followed. The permission for non-cultivation should be canceled if the condition of plantation of any such unit is violated.
7. Non-agricultural permission should be canceled as construction permission was not obtained in violation of the provision of non-construction conditions as per non-agricultural conditions.
8. The non-cultivation permission should be canceled as the condition of provision for arrangement of percolative borewell for underground drainage of rain water has been violated.
9. There is a provision to sanction the plan by placing a construction line of 24 meters from the center line of the highway as it is uncultivated for residential purpose. But construction is not done after 24 meters.
A letter written to the state BJP president regarding anti-party activities was also released
Jawahar Chavda resigned as Congress MLA and joined BJP. In the year 2019, Manavdar contested the election as a BJP candidate in the assembly by-election. After the completion of the by-election, Jawahar Chavda wrote a letter to the then state president Jitu Vaghani regarding BJP office bearers who engaged in anti-party activities in the Manavadar assembly constituency. In this letter, he presented against district BJP president Kirit Patel along with BJP leaders of Manavdar and Vanthali talukas. Jawahar Chavda has blasted the letter bomb about the illegal construction of the district BJP office after releasing a letter making serious allegations against district BJP president Kirit Patel. In that case, the matter has become highly debated after the release of the letter written to the state president regarding the anti-party activities of the BJP office bearers.

Jawahar Chawda contested the Manavadar assembly seat as a Congress candidate in the year 2017. At that time, the current district BJP president Kirit Patel, former minister Rati Sureja, former parliamentary secretary LT Rajani and Vanthali leader Dinesh Khataria did anti-party activities in support of the Congress candidate. Jawahar Chavda has mentioned in the letter that the then BJP candidate Nitin (Tinu) Phaldu had also complained. Jawahar Chavda alleged that the BJP leaders are enjoying the positions today despite their anti-party activities and representations against them in the 2017 and 2019 assembly elections.
