US VP Vance's Four-Day India Visit: Full Itinerary
J D Vance, with family and officials, arrives in India for talks with PM Modi and visits to Delhi, Jaipur, Agra

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will host a dinner for United States Vice President J D Vance and Second Lady Usha, who is of Indian origin, on Monday evening following bilateral discussions focused on trade, tariffs, and other key matters.
Vice President Vance, accompanied by his wife and their three children – Ewan, Vivek, and Mirabel – is set to arrive at New Delhi’s Palam airbase at 10 am on Monday for a four-day official visit to India. Upon arrival, the family will be received by a senior Union minister.
During their stay, the Vances will travel to multiple cities including Delhi, Jaipur, and Agra. According to the media reports, Vice President Vance will be joined by at least five senior American officials, including representatives from the Pentagon and the State Department.
Shortly after reaching Delhi, the Vice President and his family are scheduled to visit the Swaminarayan Akshardham temple. They may also stop at a shopping complex known for its display and sale of traditional Indian handcrafted products.
At 6:30 pm on Monday, Prime Minister Modi will meet with Vice President Vance for discussions expected to centre around expediting the proposed India-US bilateral trade agreement and exploring avenues to further strengthen bilateral ties.
The Indian delegation at the meeting will include External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, and India’s Ambassador to the United States Vinay Mohan Kwatra. Following the talks, the Prime Minister will host a formal dinner for the visiting American dignitaries and officials.
The Vance family is scheduled to depart for Jaipur later on Monday night. In Delhi, they will stay at the ITC Maurya Sheraton hotel.
On April 22, the Vice President and his family will visit prominent historical landmarks in Jaipur, including Amer Fort, also known as Amber Fort, which is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Later that day, Vice President Vance is expected to address an audience at the Rajasthan International Centre in Jaipur. His speech will focus on broader dimensions of India-US relations under the Donald Trump administration.
The event is likely to be attended by diplomats, foreign policy analysts, Indian government representatives, and members of the academic community.
On the morning of April 23, the Vances will proceed to Agra, where they are scheduled to visit the Taj Mahal and Shilpgram, an open-air marketplace that showcases Indian artefacts. After completing their visit, the family will return to Jaipur in the latter half of the day.
The Vance family is expected to depart for the United States from Jaipur on April 24. During their time in Jaipur, they will be staying at the Rambagh Palace, a historic luxury hotel that once served as a royal guest residence.
