Two Gujarat Students Among 24 to Score 100 in JEE Main 2025
Shiven Toshniwal and Adit Bhagde from Gujarat scored a perfect 100 percentile in JEE Main 2025 Session 2

Shiven Toshniwal and Adit Bhagde from Gujarat have secured a perfect 100 percentile in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 Session 2 Paper 1, placing them among the top 24 candidates across the country to achieve the highest possible score. Their performance has also earned them the distinction of state toppers from Gujarat.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results on Saturday via its official website. Among the 24 top scorers, the highest number of candidates hailed from Rajasthan, followed by Maharashtra, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, and Telangana.
Over 9.92 lakh candidates appeared for the second session of the examination. The NTA reported that results of 110 candidates have been withheld after being found to have used unfair means, including submission of forged documents.
The JEE Main 2025 scorecard provides a detailed analysis of each candidate’s performance, including raw marks, subject-wise percentiles, overall NTA score, All India Rank (AIR), and JEE Advanced eligibility status.
Alongside individual scores, the NTA has also published the category-wise cut-offs for JEE Advanced 2025 eligibility. These cut-offs will assist candidates in determining their chances of qualifying for the next phase or securing seats through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling, which is expected to begin in June 2025.
JEE Main serves as a gateway to admission in premier engineering institutions, including National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs). It also acts as the qualifying exam for JEE Advanced, which is required for admission into the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
In a step to maintain transparency and ensure accurate evaluation, the NTA released the final answer key for the April session of JEE Main 2025 on Thursday. Following a review of valid objections submitted during the challenge window, two questions were officially dropped—one from the April 3 first shift (domestic set) and another from the April 2 first shift (international set). The answer key was briefly removed from the official website late Thursday night.
Candidates who qualified for JEE Advanced 2025 may now begin the registration process and intensify their preparation. Those who did not qualify will participate in JoSAA counselling to explore admission opportunities in other leading engineering institutions.
