Another incident of Ganesh Pandal stone pelting reported, this time in Kutch
Police have arrested seven persons, including three minors

In the Ganapati pandal of Jadodar (Kotda) village of Nakhtrana taluk of Kutch, the idol was broken by stone pelting late on Tuesday evening. When the pagan flag was hoisted on the temple next to the Ganapati pandal, there was tension in the entire parish. Nakhtrana police have registered a crime against 8 persons and arrested 7 persons including 3 minors.
After Surat and Vadodara, there has been an incident of stone pelting on Ganapati pandal in Kutch too. Under-aged youths pelted stones on the Ganpati Mahotsav pandal of Jadodar (Kotda) village of Nakhtrana taluk. Due to which the idol of Ganapati Bappa has been broken. Apart from this, a heathen flag has been hoisted on the temple next to the Ganapati pandal. Because of this, an atmosphere like tension has been seen in Nakhtrana Panthak including Jadodar village. Despite the news of the incident, various agencies of the Kutch West Police, including Nakhtrana, reached the spot.
After investigating the incident, 7 persons have been arrested after registering a complaint against 8 persons in Nakhtrana police station. Sagar Barmar, the in-charge police chief of Kutch West, said that a case has been registered against 3 minors in the case of pelting stones on the pandal and 4 persons in the case of unfurling the flag of the heretic. He added that police arrangements have been made at the site of the incident to prevent any untoward incident in Nakhtrana Panthak.
Kutch West Police has formed separate teams to investigate who is behind the whole incident. The police chief has appealed to the citizens not to make comments that do not hurt religious sentiments and not to send inflammatory messages. He has assured that no culprit will be spared in this incident.
