The owner of a YouTube channel has been arrested in Kerala for propagating fake news about the Electronic Voting Machines ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, police said today.
The Alappuzha South police registered a case against the owner of the YouTube channel Venice TV Entertainment for allegedly propagating that EVMs involved fraud, reported news agency Press Trust of India.

પોલીસે આજે જણાવ્યું હતું કે, આગામી લોકસભા ચૂંટણી પહેલા ઇલેક્ટ્રોનિક વોટિંગ મશીનો વિશે ખોટા સમાચાર ફેલાવવા બદલ કેરળમાં એક યુટ્યુબ ચેનલના માલિકની ધરપકડ કરવામાં આવી છે.
અલપ્પુઝા સાઉથ પોલીસે યુટ્યુબ ચેનલ વેનિસ ટીવી એન્ટરટેઇનમેન્ટના માલિક સામે EVM માં છેતરપિંડી સામેલ છે તેવું કથિત રીતે પ્રચાર કરવા બદલ કેસ નોંધ્યો હતો, એમ ન્યૂઝ એજન્સી પ્રેસ ટ્રસ્ટ ઓફ ઇન્ડિયાએ જણાવ્યું હતું.

केरल में एक यूट्यूब चैनल के मालिक को आगामी लोकसभा चुनाव से पहले इलेक्ट्रॉनिक वोटिंग मशीनों के बारे में फर्जी खबर फैलाने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया है।
समाचार एजेंसी प्रेस ट्रस्ट ऑफ इंडिया की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, अलाप्पुझा दक्षिण पुलिस ने यूट्यूब चैनल वेनिस टीवी एंटरटेनमेंट के मालिक के खिलाफ कथित रूप से यह प्रचार करने के लिए मामला दर्ज किया कि ईवीएम में धोखाधड़ी शामिल है।
