J & K, Haryana Assembly elections dates declared, results will be out on Oct 4th
J & K elections in three phases

The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly election schedule was released by the Election Commission of India (ECI) on Friday. Beginning on September 18, elections in the union territory will be held in three stages.
A week after visiting the union territory Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Rajiv Kumar along with election commissioners Gyanesh Kumar and Sukhbir Singh Sandhu, declared elections schedule.
In three phase elections, voting in first phase will take place on September 18, second phase voting on September 25, and the last phase voting on October 1. The counting will place on October 4.
Whereas Haryana Assembly Elections will be hold in one phase on October and counting will be on 4th October.
According to the CEC, there are 87.09 lakh eligible voters in Jammu & Kashmir, with a similar proportion of men and women. There will be more than 11,800 polling places overall.
44.46 lakh men, 42.62 lakh women, and 3.71 lakh first-time voters make up the total number of voters. 735 voters vote on average per voting place, according to ECI data.
